Profesor Wierzbicki znalazł pierwszy krąg w Wylatowie (piktogram) w 2000 roku i od razu wiedział, że to nie żarty. Symetria była zbyt precyzyjna, a różnice w ugięciu łodyg zbyt regularne. Ale dopiero po dwudziestu latach, przeglądając stare zdjęcia późną nocą, poczuł to: mdłości, szum w uszach, a potem dziwny spokój, jakby ktoś przekładał mu kable w głowie.

Odkrył, że to działa tylko wtedy, gdy patrzy się na wiele kręgów naraz — sekwencyjnie, strona po stronie. Pojedynczy wzór to szum. Sekwencja to kod.

After a month, he no longer needed heart medication. After three, he stopped being afraid.

After six months, he realized he was no longer entirely himself. And that, in fact, was the best part.

The final circle—the one from 2027—appeared in the exact shape of an open book.
